When it comes down to gaming audio hardware, Turtle Beach is one of the most respected companies out there, so gamers everywhere will rejoice when hearing that its line of PS3 headsets just got a new addition, the Ear Force P11 amplified stereo headset following to make its debut at CES 2011.

Just as other Turtle Beach headset models, these too feature two independent volume controls for chat and game sounds as well as a mic monitor mode, that lets you hear what you're saying when communications with other players.

The in-line amplifier unit, that also houses the volume control buttons, is able to deliver 35mW/ch and features a frequency response of DC – 30kHz an less than 1% total harmonic distortions.

Coupled with the 50mm speaker drivers, this setup should be able to pump out a powerful sound, full of bass, since Turtle Beach has also added bass boost technology to the P11 headset.

Although designed with the PS3 in mind, the P11 headset is also compatible with PC and Mac computers as the amplifier is powered through a standard USB port.
