Turtle Beach, a company that has long been on the leading edge when it comes to gaming and sound delivery, has announced that it will be launching an exclusively licensed and limited edition set of headphones linked to the upcoming Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3.

The headphones have been created in conjunction with video game publisher Activision and with involvement from the audio development teams working at both Infinity Ward and Sledgehammer Games.

This means that the headphones have a number of audio presets that will offer the best immersion and the most awareness in the upcoming first person shooter.

They are now shipping to stores and should be on sales soon, allowing players to pick them up and test them in some other games before getting Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 in order to unleash their full potential.

Turtle Beach says that the headphones will be offered in a variety of packages and at different price points in order to make them accessible to as many gamers as possible.

They are compatible with the Xbox 360 home console from Microsoft, the PlayStation 3 from Sony, the PC powered by Windows and the Mac.

The lowest price for the exclusive headphones is 100 dollars (about 72 Euro) and will go up to 180 dollars for the premium package (140 Euro).

Turtle Beach is well known for its top of the line audio devices and for its commitment to the best experience for gamers.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 will probably be the biggest video game launch of the year and will take the player through yet another close to the brink experience, with a number of points of view used to provide variety.

There are also improvements made to the multiplayer, with a new progression system and a number of new perks.
