As the high speed USB 2.0 standard is very popular nowadays and because it is implemented in just about any computer peripheral you may care to name, some computer users are facing problems when trying to connect all their webcams, mice, printers, scanners and so on to a single computer system that comes with few USB compatible ports. While the idea of an USB hub is not something new, relatively few such devices are now on the market and most of them are quite bulky and squarish.

Well, now the news site geekalerts presents the new turnable high speed USB hub that can be fitted even in the most tight spaces around a computer while providing a lot of flexibility when it comes to connecting different USB cables to it. As this device is plug and play compatible it needs no drivers in order to operate, so it is both PC and MAC OS compatible while also being compatible with just about any operating system in use today.

On the interface side, the Turnable USB Hub is compatible with both the high speed USB 2.0 standard and the older USB 1.1 and it is made up of four USB ports equipped with type A connectors and one of them is capable of turning at 180 degrees. This feature will allow users to easily connect more devices to a single USB hub as they will no longer encounter space problems thanks to the fact that the hub can be oriented in different directions.

A blue LED indicator is also provided and can show users the state of the device and it also supports advanced energy saving features as it is powered by the same USB port that is used to connect it to the host computer system. This USB hub is available in two colors, black and white and it comes with a price tag of $15 while being on sale from many online stores.
