One passenger on a Singapore Airlines flight has learned the true meaning of turbulence as he saw his and any other meal get smashed on the floor during one rocky ride.

Alan Cross posted a series of photos on Instagram documenting his flight to London. According to Gawker, 328 passengers and 28 members of the crew were interrupted during breakfast time when the A380 entered an area of severe turbulence.

The aftermath looks like kids played around with their food, throwing it on the floor, ceiling and anywhere else they could think of.

“Everything that wasn’t tied down, including a few people, hit the ceiling,” he recalls.

The flight lasted for ten hours, but they only experienced turbulence for a brief moment. Some passengers incurred minor injuries and were attended to by staff.
