14 DAY TRIAL // Tulisa Contostavlos is switching it up a bit with a brand new video for a brand new song. After the party anthem “Live It Up,” “Sight of You” marks a clear difference in tone and atmosphere.
With such a serious song, Tulisa knew the importance of having an equally serious video.
She wrote the story herself, while directorial credit goes to Luke Hyams.
In the clip, which you can see above in full, Tulisa and Jody Latham, whom fans might recognize from “Shameless,” are married but not entirely happy.
Partly responsible for that is the guy, presumably because of his fondness for pool games, drinking beer and flirting with unknown but very attractive blondes, especially when he’s caught in the act.
Drama ensues.
Though not extremely fancy or pretentious, the video is as effective as it’s believable: here is a woman torn between love and hate, not being able to leave without her man. The video is the perfect companion for such a song.
