Plastic add-on works wonders

You probably already know that Need for Speed Carbon has just come out. But, in order to live the NFS racing experience to the max, you need a proper controller. There have been many attempts over the years to release a pad that is suitable to racing fans but none of these attempts were successful. Maybe Kontrol Freek will hit the jackpot with their latest release, the U-150.

Kontrol Freak took a regular Xbox 360 controller and equipped it with a little plastic thingy that presumably enables more precision in horizontal motions. Just the thing that racing fans were looking for. Digital Displacement reports that on top of this, the U-150 controller is extremely cheap. It's not available for purchase yet, but you can place a pre-order on the Kontrol Freek website for just US$ 9.95. Presumably, this "magic" plastic doo-dad works both on the Xbox 360 controller and Xbox controller.

According to Kontrol Freek, this device will help edge out the competition, due to its ergonomic shape. I guess that the plastic add-on will improve your grip and maybe it will count on the final stretch of a race.
