It should be compatible with all modern sockets

CPU coolers often have restrictions in the way of supported central processing and accelerated processing units, not necessarily because their inventors have loyalty issues, but because of design consequences.

That doesn't seem to apply to the Raijintek Triton, an all-in-one liquid cooler that supposedly supports all modern sockets from both AMD and Intel.

That means it should install just fine on AMD FM2, FM2+, and AM3 sockets, as well as Intel LGA 2011 and LGA 2011-3, among others.

Don't be surprised if a big chunk of the box is filled with different mounting mechanism bits and pieces.

The Raijintek Triton AiO cooler

This device is the sort of liquid cooler that doesn't need to be hooked up to some external reservoir, pump, or whatever else.

Since it's intended to be self-sufficient, it behaves more like an air-based cooler, only the fan (or in this case two fans) doesn’t directly cool the metallic part that connects to the CPU itself.

Instead, a water block comes into contact with the chip, through which water flows in and out from two pumps.

Said pumps allow the coolant to flow between the block and the radiator. It is to that radiator that the two fans are attached.

In addition to these core elements, the Triton AIO has a Q-Max design for the pump, plus a pair of LED lights inside the reservoir tank, which have a dual purpose: to indicate where the refilling locations are and to make the whole thing look good.

All in all, the Raijintek Triton All-in-One liquid cooler should run well and silently, all the while adding a bit of mystique to your computer. Assuming the glow of the LED isn't drowned up by whatever LED fans you might have anyhow.

Availability and pricing details

The Raijintek Triton AIO liquid cooling system happens to be the first such system from the company (all-in-one that is). It uses 240mm fins and has an RPM controller for the fans, plus a choice between red, blue, and green fluids, in case you want to dye the coolant in a particular color. Unfortunately, the press release didn't include the price.

It's interesting to note that the cube meant to be installed on the CPU is just that: a cube. Not a base plate or thin water block, but a large, fluid-filled cube whose walls you can see through. A fairly unique approach, all things considered.
