IT security giant Trend Micro has published a report on the Chinese cybercriminal underground market. The report is titled “Beyond Online Gaming Cybercrime: Revisiting the Chinese Underground Market.”

Experts say it’s not very difficult to analyze the work of Chinese cybercriminals if you know what to look for.

As in the rest of the world, many of them get together on underground forums. However, in China, cybercriminals also use QQ chat groups. Specific jargon is used to describe these groups so if you know their “language,” you can easily track them down.

Chinese cybercriminals offer a wide range of products, including DDOS kits and servers, phishing kits, shells, RATs, compromised servers, and even services designed for detection evasion.

To learn more about the Chinese underground economy, including the prices for each of these services, check out the complete report on Trend Micro’s website.
