Bunny shares her vacation tips

If you ever wondered how and where a famous Bunny spends her holidays, or which are her all-time favorite places to visit, wonder no more. In an interview with USA Today, Holly Madison, former Bunny and Hugh Hefner’s ex number-one girlfriend, offers an insight into the places she loves to visit, while also giving fans one free piece of wonderful advice: never go on vacation during the holiday season.

Just like actress Vivica A. Fox said earlier this year, Madison is also crazy about Paris, labeling the French capital one of the most romantic and surprising places she’s ever visited – and we don’t really have to take her word when she says she has traveled around the world a lot, because that’s already common knowledge by now. There is something about Paris that always makes the ladies happy, and it’s not just the possibility of hitting all those designer stores. For Madison, for instance, the appeal of the city lies within its wonderful blend of old and new, history and culture.

Nevertheless, it’s Italy that most surprised her: Venice, to be more specific. “I kind of knew what to expect but it made more of an impact on me. It’s so cool. It reminds me of something of a fantasy. It’s like from another world or another planet. You’re in a water city. Until you’re there you don’t quite realize what an adventure it is or what a unique city it is. We had gone to the Hotel Danieli and the lobby is so beautiful that you go back in time.” Holly Madison explains.

As for her favorite place to spend a well-deserved break, that would be a Disney Park. The glamor model says Disney Parks always remind her of when she was a child and would go on holiday with her parents, even if she now has enough money to stay only at the best hotels and afford everything she wants. She does have an invaluable tip for all travelers (or would-be travelers) out there: when planning a vacation, research properly beforehand and then choose a date that is not outside the holiday season to avoid crowd and overpricing. This way, she says, you get the best: all the fun you want at just a fraction of the cost.

“My favorite travel tip is just to go in the off season and some of the more unorthodox times. For example, there’s one hotel I really love in Paris. One of the rooms doubles in price if you go in June from what the price is in May. It’s totally crazy. And then Disneyland, traditionally, if you go the week before Christmas you can go on all of the rides in such a fast amount of time, whereas if you go the week after Christmas through New Year’s Day it’s so packed you can’t even move. I think researching when you can get the best deal and when it’s the least crowded is really worth it.” Madison explains.
