Supergiant Games, makers of Bastion and Transistor smash hits, have just announced their latest game is now available on the iOS platform as well.

Transistor was launched on PC and PlayStation 4 in May 2014, and beginning today, iOS users will be able to play it as well, assuming they have the money to purchase the game.

“After the success of our first foray onto the App Store with Bastion, we're happy to bring Transistor to iOS devices, and appreciate having heard a great deal of interest in it from many of you over the months. We hope you find it to be everything you hoped for, and then some,” says Supergiant Games' Greg Kasavin in a blog post.

Play on iPhone and iPad with the same save

Transistor comes with the option to save your games in the cloud, which means you will be able to play on iPad or iPhone.

It's also worth mentioning that Transistor features GameCenter achievements, an optional Classic Controls setting for a more console-like gameplay experience, as well as support for iOS gamepads.

Developers also mention that “This latest version of our award-winning second game features all the deep strategic action and rich atmospheric presentation that made Transistor a hit, with all-new controls and interface designed for touch from the ground up.”

Transistor features more than 1000 powerful function combinations and has been localized in many languages (text and subtitles), including English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Russian, Polish, Brazilian Portuguese. Keep in mind, though, that the voiceover is only in English.

Last but not least, Supergiant Games announces that the iOS version of Transistor has been developed in collaboration with Confetti Games studio.

You can now download Transistor for iOS for $9.99 (€8.95) via App Store. The game should be fully compatible with all devices running iOS 8.0 or later.
