According to The New Civil Rights Movement, Dayna Morales is employed by the Gallop Asian Bistro in Bridgewater. The customer was a woman who brought her two children to dinner.
When the server introduced herself as Dayna, the customer expressed her disbelief.
"Oh I thought you were gonna say your name is Dan," she said.
Morales, a former Marine, adds that she has her manager's support and that the staff treat her like family.
