It is the sort of memory you can expect to find in servers

Registered DIMM (RDIMM) and Unbuffered ECC DIMM (ECC UDIMM) memory is the type that enterprises and network administrators install in servers and data centers, and Transcend has just released a line of RAM that includes both types.

There are two modules of 4 GB that operate at 1866 MHz. One of them is an RDIMM and the other an ECC UDIMM.

Both of them are rated at 1866 MHz with latency of 13-13-13 and operating voltage of 1.5V.

Systems powered by Intel Xeon E5-2600 v2 processors (Ivy Bridge-EP) are the main target of the new memory modules. Virtualization should work on them especially well, or so the company feels.

Transcend's creations comply with JEDEC (Joint Electron Device Engineering Council) standards for performance, consistency and stability. Prices are subject to negotiations.
