You can always tell a Wes Anderson movie is a Wes Anderson movie even if it doesn't say so in the credits. The same goes for “Moonrise Kingdom,” which just got a first, incredibly sweet trailer.

The film tells the story of two 12-year-olds who fall in love, make a pact and then leave home together, sending their community into chaos over their “disappearance.”

As a search party is put together to find them, the two explore the woods.

To say that the film is quirky, beautiful and adorable would be an understatement. Just check out the trailer above to see for yourself.

“Moonrise Kingdom” stars Bruce Willis, Edward Norton, Bill Murray, Frances McDormand, Tilda Swinton, Jason Schwartzman, and Jared Gilman and Kara Hayward as the young lovers.

It will be out in theaters on May 25, 2012.
