For her upcoming film, Michelle Williams has the unenviable task of bringing to life in front of the camera one of the most iconic women of all times. A first trailer for Simon Curtis’ “My Week with Marilyn” has just been released.

Stills for the film have made their way to fans but, until just now, they had no idea whether Michelle would also nail the physicality of Marilyn as she seemed to have managed to replicate her looks.

Set during the shooting of Laurence Olivier’s 1957 “The Prince and the Showgirl,” the film tells the story of an affair Marilyn had with one of Olivier’s assistants for one week.

By the looks of the clip, it seems to tackle the issue of how difficult it was for Norma Jean to play the character of Marilyn all the time, as well as how no amount of admiration could fill the void and emptiness in her heart.

“My Week with Marilyn” also stars Eddie Redmayne, Emma Watson and Kenneth Branagh, and is out in theaters on November 4.
