One of the worst things we can do where bullying is concerned is to pretend that it's just something natural for a certain age, or that it's not that big a deal. This is the message of the latest documentary.

You can see the trailer for “Bully,” coming from The Weinstein Company, above.

Directed by Lee Hirsch, the new film aims to attain a double goal; the first is that of telling the stories of bullied kids and their families and, in the process, expose bullying as the vile, cruel, daily activity it's become.

The second purpose of the doc is to offer victims of bullying a means of support, by letting them know that they are not alone and, most importantly, not at fault for what is happening to them.

Without a doubt, the trailer promises that no expense will be spared to drive the message home, even if that means including footage of how far bullying can go – beatings and suicide.

“Bully” comes out on March 30.
