Fans of the TrackMania series will have a reason to be happy, as the latest and most complete installment in the series, TrackMania United, will soon be released.

TrackMania United will be released in the near future, to be more exact on November 17. This is the latest installment in the series and will include all TrackMania games released so far and most important, will feature a peer-to-peer system and a unified ranking system. Also, some new features will be included in Trackmania United.

At first, North American retailers will be able to sell an early release of the game, on November 17. Only 10,000 copies of this special edition will be available and those who want to purchase them have to go online, as this is the only way to order them. If you are old-fashioned or just simply have a crush on the salesperson at you local retailer, you will have to wait until February 2007. But you will miss the head start on developing TrackMania content that you will be able to share with other members of the TrackMania United community.

The TrackMania series is among the few series of games, if not the only, that offers players something different, meaning that they are not confined to obey the typical rules present in racing games. Players have the possibility of creating their own tracks and they can also race a track as many times as they like until the time runs out. Unfortunately, this game is meant for PC gamers only, Xbox 360 and PlayStation fans have been left out.
