Microsoft Game Studios and Ruffian Games have unveiled the add-on for Crackdown 2, a piece of downloadable content called Toy Box. Toy Box is free for everyone, but also gives players the option to buy some premium content alongside the basic package.

The free content includes the Keys to the City mode, a Level 6 ability reward and a new vehicle based competitive multiplayer mode called Vehicle Tag.

The Keys to the City mode is probably familiar to fans of the original. It enables cheats that are meant to make the title even more fun, allowing players to go through the city in God mode with infinite ammo, faster spawning of weapons and gadgets and other such advantages.

Those who reach Level 6 on all the Agent skills provided will get the Thruster ability, essentially jetpack boots. They will allow the activation the Wingsuit flight mode anywhere in the game's world.

For the fans who want to play through even more Crackdown 2 content, the Toy Box also contains some premium content that goes for 560 Microsoft Points on the Xbox Live Marketplace. This makes available two new vehicles, five new items, two Avatar awards, ten new Achievements and eight new suit colors.

The two new vehicles are the Agency ATV, a wall climbing aquatic tank, and the Squad Chopper, which allows four players to travel through Pacific City through the air and launch attacks using four different weapons.

The five new items are: he Mass Driver, a turreted gravity bending weapon, the Portable Launch Pads, which allows Agents to create their own launch pad jumps, Stickler Grenade, a bouncing grenade that sets off smaller explosive charges as it bounces, Thrusters, that permit vertical thrust, and Mags on Characters, which gives Mag Grenades the ability to be attached to characters.

The Toy Box is coming soon on the Xbox Live Marketplace.
