The development team at Cyanide and publisher Focus Home Interactive are ready to deliver the first teaser trailer for their upcoming Tour de France 2015 cycling simulation, which will be launched this June for both the PC and home consoles.

The footage allows gamers to take a look at the upgraded graphics engine that will be used to power the game, taking them into the middle of the pack of riders while showcasing the variety of situations that the cyclists will have to deal with as they hunt for the Yellow Jersey.

The challenges for Tour de France 2015 will include an early trek through both Holland and the north of France, with their steep short climbs and cobbled sections, then a team time trial and major mountain stages before the celebratory sprint down the Champs-Elysees.

The coming title is designed to come in two flavors, with different core mechanics and separate focuses depending on the platform on which gamers are playing.

The PlayStation 4, the Xbox One and the PS3 players of Tour de France 2015 will be able to experience careful simulations of the 21 stages of Le Tour while also playing the Criterium International and the Criterium du Dauphine.

Gamers will control one rider and they have the option to create their own favorite group of riders in the new ProTeam mode while engaging their friends in multiplayer.

Pro Cycling Manager 2015 has an extra layer of complexity on the PC

The cycling simulation series started out as a PC title and this is the platform on which the game delivers a fuller experience.

Cyanide is promising to give gamers control over a professional team that can take part in more than 200 competitions, with 550 stages based on real world data.

Managers in Pro Cycling Manager 2015 will have to deal with issues like schedule management, rider recruitment, sponsor selection and training.

At the same time, they will be able to control the entire selected team during the actual stages of the races, choosing when and how to use their energy resources in order to secure the best possible result.

Cyanide promises changes to the sprinting mechanics and the way the Artificial Intelligence controls its own cyclists.

A new ProCyclist mode in the sim means that gamers can create a rider and then control him from the moment he turns professional until he retires.
