Sony Ericsson W960 should make Santa's perfect gift choice this Christmas. It will play carols with best sound definition and also impress some elves with its touchscreen performances.

The phone has been unveiled in June, this year, but the producer took advantage of its recent phone announcements to bring this device back in the spotlight. It's worth all the attention, as the handset is one of the most evolved Walkman phones coming from Sony Ericsson.

Touchscreen has been one of the most popular technologies over the past period. A huge number of smartphones use it and now the W960 phone model will also pack it in order to make it easier for the user to manage his playlist. The 2.6 inch display looks huge and manages to make web navigation easier and more enjoyable.

Another impressive feature about the Sony Ericsson W960 mobile phone is definitely the 3.2 megapixel camera. For a music phone, this turns out to be a pretty great performance and provides great quality captures, similar to those of handsets from the Cyber-shot line. The phone also allows widescreen views and makes it possible to watch videos in TV quality.

"The W960 has been generating a lot of consumer excitement since the day it was announced", says Ben Padley, Head of Music Product Group at Sony Ericsson. "As the next instalment in our hugely popular Walkman phone series, we are confident that this music mix of 3G phone, Walkman player and quality camera will prove to be a hit, and a great complement to the rest of the range."

Sony Ericsson W960 has been announced to hit stores in November, this year, which leaves little time to wait until its release. The producer said nothing on the price that it will come at, although the high capabilities should drive it pretty high.
