Since there are so many pieces of gear with touch-sensitive capabilities, Gemini have given thought to embedding this very cool technology in their line of professional CD/MP3 players for DJ use. Thus the Gemini MPX-40 player came into being and from the very start it looks like a most promising and very cool tool to play with in the club.

The Gemini MPX-40 is by no means a gimmick: it sports a very modern and sleek design and comes loaded with premium features you'll meet in the highest-priced gear.

The Gemini MPX-40 comes with full CD, CD-R and CD-RW support and is compatible with the MP3 format. Even more, it will allow for easy text and folder search capabilities and 10 seconds anti-shock buffer protection.[admark=1]

Variable pitch control and extensive sampling and looping options make a very to-die-for piece of tech out of the Gemini MPX-40 player.

The touch-sensitive area is built in the jog wheel itself and its tabletop design makes manipulating and scratching your CDs and MP3 files as if they were actual vinyl discs.

The Gemini MPX-40 rates a $500 MSRP but it is expected at a street price of $300.
