'Upgrade your stubby fingers'

While mostly everyone is happy with the performance of the iPhone's touch-screen, you can hear some complaints from those having thick fingers or long fingernails. Luckily, for these people, there is an alternative: the Japanese-made iPhone Touch Pen Stylus.

Some iPhone users may have already come to the conclusion that not many objects (except for their own fingers) are able to control the iPhone's touch-screen. The reason to this is because Apple's ingeniously-crafted iPhone responds to small electricity impulses generated by the user's skin. ThinkGeek explains it best:

"Ever notice how your iPhone screen only responds to your finger... or any other small appendage you have handy? This is because it uses a technology called capacitive touch which measures the flow of electrons through your skin." So, what the "iPhone Japanese Touch Pen Stylus" does is that it emulates the human finger and allows the user to "gain precise control" with the iPhone's touch-screen.

Besides the angled spring loaded tip that replicates finger-on-screen dragging, the metal stylus also sports a removable cap on the back which unscrews to reveal a SIM eject tool (pictured left). "It's perfect for those of you with long fingernails or simply oversized stubby man fingers," ThinkGeek notes.

Main features of the iPhone Japanese Touch Pen Stylus include:

- Specially designed stylus works with iPhone and iPod Touch - Enables precision selection of on-screen items - Imported from Japan (like... that's a feature!) - All metal construction - Angled spring loaded tip designed for easier on-screen dragging - Built-in SIM eject tool - Choose from Silver or Black finish - 10.2 cm in length.

Surely there are some iPhone users out there unhappy with the way the screen responds to their touch, so if you're one of these folks, iPhone Japanese Touch Pen Stylus is available for $14.99 (either in silver or black).
