Those who are in continuous search of new and cool games for their iPhone or iPod Touch might be happy (or at least pleased) to find out that Play 'Em, a young company appeared out of nowhere, have just released their first game called Touch 'Em.

Touch 'Em is presented as a one of a kind take on the popular icon-matching game genre. It makes heavy use of iPhone's multi-touch capabilities, luring gamers into a fast-paced adventure. What exactly do you have to do while playing? Well, the screen is filled with cat, dog, bear and piggy faces that must be “matched” in order to disappear. You have to find three similar faces that are next to each other and then try to “extend the match” with your fingers. Pretty childish, you might say, but childish is good when it comes to games, so there's nothing wrong in that.

Touch 'Em also features a tutorial, multiple game modes and infinite gameplay. Moreover, it allows players to post their high-scores online so that the whole world can see just how good they are in the art of making piggies and bears go bye-bye with just a few finger touches.

Of course, you might be a bit reluctant towards the game, since it is Play'Em's first one for iPhone and iPod Touch. However, Touch 'Em seems quite fun, and if the “infernal noise” featured is sweet music to your ears, then nothing can stop you from playing the game.

So, interested? Head on over to the App Store website and get your own copy of Touch 'Em right away. Note that you need to have iTunes installed to actually download the game. But I suppose you already know this.

And about that infernal noise – here's a YouTube video demo with the game. You'll see what I meant:
