The development team at The Creative Assembly is ready to celebrate 15 years since it first introduced the Total War franchise and the video designed to mark the occasion once again teases that the next title in the series will be Warhammer-based.

Since the company created the strategy experience, they have launched 11 core titles and a lot of expansions, which have covered more than 2000 years of actual warfare.

The new footage shows each title launched in chronological order, and towards the end fans will be able to see an unfamiliar background as an inhuman scream can be heard in the background.

The Creative Assembly states, "Empires have risen, and many a brave warrior has fallen with an estimated 4.8 billion battles waged in the last 15 years."

The studio is not offering any details on what it is currently teasing, but a recent leak has suggested that it is working on a full title based around the Warhammer fantasy setting, which means that soon players will be able to enter combat using humans, orcs, chaos servants, and presumably Skaven.

An official announcement will probably be introduced before E3 2015 in June.

The focus is at the moment on Total War: Attila

Currently, The Creative Assembly is still focusing all its energy on its recently launched Attila title, which is centered around the history of the downfall of the Roman Empire and the impact the Huns had on Europe and its civilizations.

The game experience was solid on launch and most fans are satisfied with the challenge level and with the way the nations work.

Total War: Attila has already received one big patch from the studio and the Longbeards Culture Pack downloadable content has also been introduced, with more DLC planned for the future.

The studio will probably also introduce some sort of mini-campaigns, like the ones that were delivered for Rome 2.

Given the pace of launches for the company and that fact that it is also working on the Kingdom title, the all-new Warhammer game will probably be set for a 2016 launch date.
