Gamers can get more details about their forces

The development team at The Creative Assembly is ready to deliver a new major video for its upcoming Total War: Attila, which is designed to offer gamers a look at the new army management system, which will give players more details about their forces and their leaders and the way they can influence the battlefield.

The studio is aiming to make it easy for players to get details about their empire and their armies at a glance.

Generals have summaries that show how they have performed so far and which traits they are evolving towards, and players can choose what items and skills they will use in order to recruit and lead their armies.

The force screen in Total War: Attila is just as detailed and a new Integrity feature is introduced in order to simulate the way armies could break during the period and rebel against its rulers when they are sure that victory is no longer possible.

The Creative Assembly is also introducing decimation as a way to improve integrity and make sure that forces stay loyal, although the price in men that needs to be paid might be too big for some players.

Total War: Attila is also allowing gamers to preview the battlefield before they engage in combat, which should mean that it's easier for them to create complex strategies designed to make victory easier.

All the army management options are also used for fleets in the new title.

Total War: Attila moves forward in history

The new title from The Creative Assembly takes gamers to the moment when the Roman Empire starts to crumble and a variety of powerful tribes test its defenses, with the most powerful of them being the Huns led by Attila.

The game will introduce a number of features, including a family tree, that fans wanted to see in Rome II but were never delivered.

At the same time, the studio is making sure that elements like fire, fear, climate change, and tactical innovation are incorporated.

Total War: Attila will make it harder for players to triumph by enhancing the Artificial Intelligence both on a strategic and a tactical level, but also by increasing the level of realism for both sides of the experience.

Those who pre-order the title will be able to get access to a Viking precursor faction pack.

Total War: Attila will be launched in the middle of February on the PC.
