Actually, Total Overdose is a combination between Desperado and GTA, with a little bit Max Payne.
If GTA takes place in typical American city, Total Overdose explores the exciting scenery of Mexico.
Ramiro Cruz, the main character, known among the American mafia as El Gringo Loco, will try to avenge along the 18 levels the death of his father and brother.
Similarly to Desperado, the gamer will choose among 20 weapons, from the famous South-American "knife", the machete, to the uncrowned king of FPS, the shotgun.
The game encourages combos, for example, you jump off the roof of a building, and while in the air you shoot your enemy in the head and then roll under a car and shoot some more bad guys.

After you prove your ability to shoot and jump you will be granted access to some SuperMoves which will make you feel like Neo or Max Payne of the west.
