On top of pulling out of the bag a bunch of new tablets arriving with Windows 8.1 with Bing, Toshiba has also made time to roll out two new laptops for the Indian market.

The Portege Z10t-A and Satellite L30W are both detachable hybrids, so they can be used both in tablet and laptop mode and have made it to the Indian market as of today, Wind8Apps informs.

The Portege Z10t-A is more of an Ultrabook sort of device, which arrives with 11.6-inch IPS full HD touchscreen (1920 x 1080 pixels) combined with a LED backlit keyboard dock.

The device is powered by an Intel Core i5-3439Y processor fitted with 4GB of RAM and an internal storage option of 128GB (SSD) mSATA.

The 2-in-1 hybrid brings to the table a fully-grown SD card slot, USB 3.0, audio-combo jack and microHDMI port.

Our more clumsy readers will be happy to know that the keyboard dock is spill-resistant and bundles a touchpad with Windows 8.1 gesture support and 1 Gigabit TX Ethernet, USB 2.0, RGB and full-size HDMI.

Moving on to the second laptop, the Satellite L30W arrives with an Intel Core i3-4012Y processor clocked at 1.5GHz with 500GB hard drive storage.

Like the Portege, the Satellite brings about a more spacious display with a 13-inch HD IPS panel that takes advantage of a keyboard dock. The hybrid is the first from Toshiba to take advantage of DTS sound tuned by Skullcandy. Other specs include wireless display support, SD card slot, microHDMI and USB 2.0.

The two models will become available in July, but I can only tell you that the Satellite will sell for Rs 53,520 / $890 / €656 a pop.
