It's about time Toshiba entered the digital photo frame wild zone. The company has chosen the same IFA in Berlin to display its latest additions to the portfolio, among which a cool portable DVD player and this digital photo frame.

Being manufactured at the high standards the company has got us used to, the digital photo frame looks great no matter where the owner decides to place it. It reveals an elegant black glass frame, with an aluminum outer frame.

But besides its futuristic and carefully crafted design, the 7 inch TFT digital frame can actually display photos and videos, as well as play music.

Unfortunately, there is no cool name whatsoever, as Toshiba decided to dub the frame with a dull codename, DPF7XSE. As it is an intelligent piece of gadgetry, the device can actually read a lot of file formats on the market, including JPEG for images, DivX and MPEG4 for video content.

Not to mention the support for MP3 and WMA music data it offers. There is also an integrated USB 2.0 slot on each side of the frame, meaning the content transfer is going to be performed in better and faster conditions than before.

It can transfer just about anything you want, as it sports an SD slot, a MMC slot, a MS slot, a CF slot and two USB ports.

Sadly, there is only 256 MB of internal memory, but, hey, we're talking about a photo frame. And don't forget, Toshiba also announced the SD-P120DT portable DVD player at IFA. So, you'll better check on that, too!

Interested in the device? Apparently, the Toshiba DPF7XSE device is expected to hit the market this fall. No official price tag, yet, just a rumored 100 pounds, sorry! As for the DVD player, it's going to be out for a 350 pounds a pop, respectively!
