Chromebooks will probably turn out to be one of the fastest growing markets this year, so Toshiba is wasting no time jumping onboard of the bandwagon.

The Japanese manufacturer has unveiled its first Chromebook product ever at CES 2014 and, as expected, the lappy has made its way to Amazon, where it now awaits customers to place a pre-order. The laptop purchase will set you back with $280 / €205.

The Chromebooks will actually start shipping in mid-February, but if you want to make sure you’re among the first ones to receive a Toshiba Chrome-enhanced notebook, go right ahead.

As a quick memory refresh, the Chromebook is the first one of its kind to sport a 13.3-inch screen, which boasts a workable 1366 x 768 pixel resolution.

Moving on to hardware configuration, the laptop draws power from an Intel Celeron 1.4GHz 2955U (Haswell) processor combined with 2GB of RAM and backed up by 16GB of internal storage. So we have pretty standard Chromebook specs, quite similar to the HP Chromebook 11 and Acer C720P.
