So if you’re on the market for an Ultrabook these days, Toshiba is awarding its super-slim and stylish Satellite E45T-AST2N01 laptop with $120 / €87 off, making you pay just $779 / €564 for it, instead of the original $899 / €652.
If the price doesn't convince you yet, let’s take a quick look under the hood. The machine features a 14-inch widescreen with a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels. It draws power from an Intel Core i5-4200U processor from the Haswell family (which brings a 7.6 battery life) coupled with 8GB of RAM.
Toshiba offers a 1TB HDD with a 32GB solid state disk cache, USB 2.0, two USB 3.0, HDMI out, MicroSD, an HD webcam, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. The Ultrabook comes with Windows 8 and a bunch of Toshiba friendly pre-installed software (Toshiba App Place, Toshiba BookPlace and more.)
The Ultrabook weighs about 4.6 lbs / 2.08 kg (a bit too much for an Ultrabook if you ask me) so it would be a decent mobile companion if you decide to purchase it.
