Apart from the wide range of supported formats and the sleek and stylish design, the two brand new optical drives from Toshiba are offering the very best when it comes to mobility as they are small enough to fit in any bag and because of their universal connectivity features they can communicate with just any computer system on the market today.

The multi format optical disc writer supports CDs and DVDs, both the write and the rewritable versions as well as HD DVD-ROM and single and dual layer HD DVD-R formats, while the other Toshiba drive, the HD DVD Super-Multi offers support for all of the above data writing and reading formats with the notable exception of the HD DVD-R. Toshiba announced the pricing of the two new optical drives too as they are available right now for a little more than $400.
