Torment: Tides of Numenera is just two days away from the end of its Kickstarter funding effort and the development team at inXile is launching a new screenshot for the game in order to push up player interest.

The new image shows off the city of Sagus Cliffs and the team says, "We wanted show you (and to prove to ourselves) another environment to demonstrate some of the variation in architecture and color palettes that you’ll see in Torment."

inXile also announces that Chris Avellone is now part of the development team, which means that the designer of the original Planescape: Torment is involved with the spiritual sequel.

Torment: Tides of Numenera also offers dedicated fans the possibility to get access to the alpha stage of development.

The game was initially set to arrive in December 2014, but the team now says that all the extra features will result in a delay of a few months.
