The reason why Tori Spelling checked herself into hospital last week has been revealed, and it seems the reality star was suffering from a mixture of bad migraines as well as her ulcer acting up. However, true to her reality series, she never stopped the cameras from rolling and even took them with her in her hospital room.

Radar claims that headaches and a bad ulcer brought Tori to the hospital last week, where she spent six days under the careful supervision of doctors, cameramen and even her husband Dean McDermott.

Says an insider, “Tori’s head hurt so much, she couldn’t have any light in her bedroom. And she couldn’t keep any food down from the ulcer. She was in a great deal of pain and was very scared.”

Friends and family members are claiming that it was all because of the stress her failing marriage was causing her – most notably, the fact that he had a fling with a young woman in Toronto, in December.

“She was just so run-down and ragged from the affair fallout,” the insider adds. While most women would have packed up and left McDermott months ago, Tori chose to stand by him, and now she's presenting her drama in all its glory on her reality series, including the time she spent in the hospital.

One can't shake the feeling that she's doing this for the publicity and the ratings of her show, especially since she's been plagued by rumors that she's close to bankrupt, and she won't divorce Dean because she doesn't afford it.

The inside source seems to share the same opinion, “For Tori, nothing is off-limits to the cameras,But production was not allowed to follow Tori into the hospital. She needed peace and quiet with no pressure.”

Things are looking up for Tori, who is set to make some cash with her reality series, as well as a cop series she's doing at the moment with fellow “Beverly Hills 90210” alum Jennie Garth. It's going to be called “Mystery Girls,” and ABC decided that it was worth a shot.

In the series, Garth and Spelling are going to star as two women put in a situation that they seem overwhelmed by. Garth is set to play a suburban wife and mother, and Spelling is going to be an actress who “longs for her glory days in the 90s when she was on television.”

As you can see, the show is not too far from the truth, but it's still in pilot form. If it's going to appeal to audiences, it's going to get picked up for a whole season, and Tori will have some more cash on hand.
