The Spelling-McDermott household has definitely seen some better days. After rumors of infidelity plagued the couple around the holidays, now it looks that their finances aren't looking so great either.

Last week the celebrity couple was issued a “pay or quit” notice on the Los Angeles home, offering a glimpse into the precarious state of their financial affairs. The note was obtained by Radar, which says Spelling and McDermott owe $7,750 (€5,668) in back rent.

Based on what it says in the note, the two haven't been keeping up with their expenses for some time now, “YOU ARE HEREBY NOTIFIED … there is now due, unpaid, delinquent rent in the amount of $7,750.”

The numbers being given represent rent for one month on the house situated in Los Angeles' Tarzana district. The couple are said to have moved to another house, minutes away, which is curiously even more expensive than this one.

It's been reported that Spelling and her husband have also left one of the SUVs parked outside the house, unlocked, for a jaw-droppingly three weeks, as they vacated the premises.

From the documents, it looks like no one bothered to tell the owner they don't live there anymore, so now they'll have to pay despite making a cozy nest for themselves somewhere else.

It's been previously reported that the celebrity couple was struggling to make ends meet. One friend close to the couple said that “This is a life spinning totally out of control,” also in reference to the fact that McDermott was publicly accused of cheating on his wife.

Meanwhile, though complaining of financial dire straits, Tori doesn't seem to be interested in lowering her standards. She is reported to have spent $10,000 (€7,362) on her Thanksgiving vacation, among other needless expenses such as a new family dog, costing her $525 (€383) per month.
