Tori Spelling is now promoting a new book, “Spelling It Like It Is,” and she’s addressing some of the many reports that have been making the rounds about her financial situation and her post-pregnancy weight loss, all of which actually originated from her book.

In the video below, an excerpt from her recent interview with Good Morning America, the former reality star tackles the topic of money and weight loss. She also admits that she had hoped she would inherit more money after the death of her father, uber-producer Aaron Spelling.

Tori’s little personal drama was intensely mediated at the time, but we’ll sum it up here in case you missed it: because she and Aaron, who was one of the richest men in TV, were estranged when he died, she was left with less than $1 million (€745,156) in the will, with the rest of the money going to her mother Candy.

Tori was on bad terms with her mom too, so she was left out completely. She admits now that, as much as it hurt her to lose her father, it also pained her a lot to find out she was left practically destitute.

“I lost my father, I lost my hero, but did I think I would get more? Yes,” Tori says. Still, she adds, “Am I broke? No,” shutting down reports that she’s so bankrupt her husband can’t afford a vasectomy.

In other words, she and her family have “rich people money troubles,” as several celebrity pundits put it, in the sense that she can’t afford anymore the things she’d afford when she was still living off daddy’s money, such as exotic vacations, luxury handbags, designer clothes, and so on and so forth.

Tori also denies reports that she starved herself to lose the pregnancy weight after her fourth baby, even though they originated from excerpts from her book, released to promote it.

“Did I stop eating? No. I in no way shape or form did anything unhealthy for my body. Jokingly I would say ‘stop eating’ diet,” Tori says, explaining her previous comment. Check it out.
