14 DAY TRIAL // A little over a month ago, Tori Spelling found herself again plagued by rumors of an eating disorder, as pictures of her with her bones sticking out surfaced online. Many said that she’d lost too much weight and that was certainly not healthy, especially given that she also has to care for her two small children. To dispel rumors that she’s too thin, Spelling has agreed to pose in her swimsuit for Life & Style magazine, PopEater reports.
It’s common practice for celebrities (female celebrities, that is) to break out their two-piece swimsuit whenever they lose some weight, yet Tori is the first to swim against the current and actually show some flesh to prove the exact contrary. The picture that is now in Life & Style shows the former “90210” star in a two-piece black swimsuit, rocking some serious abs and looking healthier than earlier photos suggested she was. She’s still too thin though, goes the verdict in the blogosphere.
“Tori Spelling wants everyone to know she’s not suffering from an eating disorder. The notoriously skinny actress flaunted her healthier looking physique while on vacation with her family, Life & Style reports in an exclusive given to PopEater. Spelling, husband Dean McDermott and their two kids spent time at a resort in Turks and Caicos recently. ‘Last summer, she didn’t want to be photographed in a bathing suit. Now she’s much happier with herself. She’s still very thin, but she’s not bony anymore,’ an insider told Life & Style. Of her recent weight gain, another source added: ‘She’s gained about 5 or 6 pounds. It doesn’t sound like a lot, but on someone as thin as Tori, it makes a world of difference’,” PopEater writes.
And, since the latest issue of the tab focuses on Tori, it might as well do it all properly. Sources also tell Life & Style that the actress’ marriage is not on the rocks as rumor has it. Therefore, their vacation had nothing to do with an attempt at patching things up before pulling the plug on their relationship, but rather with Tori and Dean looking to spend some time away from the spotlight, insiders reveal.
“Dean made sure to give Tori plenty of attention. He took her on romantic walks on the beach every day. He didn’t play golf or go scuba diving or anything. He said he could do all that in LA. He was all about spending quality time with Tori,” one spy says. Dean also made sure he made Tori’s 37th birthday very special. “The hotel staff had never heard of red velvet cake. But Dean explained what it was and they whipped one up. Tori, Dean and the kids ate it on a table set up on the shore just for them. Tori was so happy – she was over the moon,” the same insider dishes.
