14 DAY TRIAL // Tori Spelling has been having a very hard time as she’s contemplating the demise of her 7-year marriage to Dean McDermott, with whom she has 4 children. Things with Dean are still incredibly bad, the latest tabloid rumor has it, but she’s determined to make some money off of it, at the very least.
Seeing how the Kardashians featured all their happy and all their sad moments on their reality show, divorces included, why couldn’t Tori also do a show about her broken marriage? According to the print issue of Star (story via CB), she believes people would tune in to see it.
Right now, while she’s still thinking of what to do about Dean and his apparent inability to stay faithful to her, Tori is working to turn her heartache into a business idea. Insiders claim that she’s campaigning to get on VH1’s Couples Therapy, a show that puts couples with problems in the same house and offers them counseling to work through their issues.
Moreover, Tori wants her own series, which, as per the report, would also tackle her broken relationship with Dean.
“Tori would sell her soul to make money. She doesn’t mind airing her dirty laundry to get paid,” says a spy, adding that one of the reasons she welcomed Dean back into the family home is that they could have a camera crew shoot their progress in saving the marriage.
“It would be them rebuilding their family after a crisis. They are thinking of calling it Tori & Dean: Coming Back to Life,” the spy continues. No word if she has any takers for the idea just yet.
Rumors about marital problems with the two started to really pick up speed around Christmastime, when the former “Beverly Hills 90210” star was photographed by the paparazzi repeatedly without her wedding ring on.
She eventually put it back and kept stepping out with her kids, putting on a happy face for the cameras but, oddly enough, Dean was never with her on these outings. That’s because he was in rehab, as he announced in a statement released after he was “outed” by one of the US glossies.
He never said what he was seeking help for, but rumor has it that he’s been cheating on Tori so much these past few years it’s turned into an addiction, and it’s gotten completely out of control. If Tori gets her reality show, we’ll probably find out more about said addiction when it airs.
