Google published the top 15 search queries conducted through its search engine in June, revealing that Australia is quite a big fan of heavy metal music as most of the keywords are concerning several songs. For example, the first place in the most popular queries top was won by "I Killed the Prom Queen" while the second place shows another passion: "Krispy Kreme." Third place, again a musical keyword: "My Chemical Romance". "Rammstein", the famous metal band, is placed on the 13th position while another keyword, "Fall Out Boy" received the eight place.

In comparison with the music-related keywords, there are also some BoxOffice searches in the top 15: "Pirates of the Caribbean" on the 10th place while "300 movie" received the 14th position.

All the results are provided by two innovative Google solutions, Zeitgeist and Trends that are offering valuable information about the searches conducted through the best technology on the Internet. "We should note that in compiling the Zeitgeist, no individual searcher's information is available or accessible to us. What you see here is a cumulative snapshot of interesting queries people are asking - some over time, some within country domains, and some on Google.com - that perhaps reveal a bit of the human condition. We appreciate the contribution all Google users make to these fascinating bits of information," it is mentioned on the official page of the product.

There are some major differences in the search queries conducted nowadays because the most popular terms in the past such as "Britney Spears" and "Paris Hilton" are now abandoned by most of the searchers. As you can see, there are other keywords used by the Australians, most of them concerning the music domain and especially the heavy metal side.
