Tony Hawk Ride is set to mark a re-invention of the franchise, coming packed with a skating peripheral that will allow a new degree of control of the slides and big air jumps that can be performed in the game.

There are significant skateboarding names featuring in the videogame, from Paul Rodriguez to Christian Hosoi. And it seems that unconvinced fans of the series might be attracted to Tony Hawk Ride on the strength of the soundtrack alone, coming in as more than 50 songs and sporting some very appropriate punk inspired tracks.
