Eidos Interactive is one of the most popular European game publishers, as it has released over the years great titles such as Hitman or Deus Ex. But none of its franchises shine as brightly as Tomb Raider, starring the ever so lovely Lara Croft.

Because her most recent appearance on the consoles and PC, Tomb Raider: Underworld, didn't fair very well against the variety of other holiday blockbusters released at the end of last year, Eidos has decided to try its luck on the handheld console market, and has just announced that a special Tomb Raider Double Pack would be heading towards Sony's PlayStation Portable.

The two games included will be Tomb Raider: Legend and Tomb Raider: Anniversary. While the latter is a remake of the original Tomb Raider game that paved the way for the great success of the franchise, the former is one of the best in the series if you take into account the BAFTA awards it won for its stunning environments and great story.

“Join Lara Croft as she embarks upon these two perilous adventures using her legendary physical prowess and agility along with an innovative collection of gadgets and her trademark dual pistols,” read the press release. “Utilizing software designed specifically for the PSP, the graphics, technology, physics and engine bring Lara’s adventures right up to today’s technology standards and will offer gamers a highly rewarding experience.”

This special pack will be exclusive to Europe, where Lara has quite a lot of fans, and will be available in stores starting with April 10. What do you think? Is the offer of two games for the price of one enough to make you buy them? Leave a comment with your thoughts.
