By now, it’s pretty clear that Tom Hiddleston’s villain god Loki is as famous as goody two shoes Thor. In fact, Loki is so popular with fans that they have just earned him more onscreen time in the upcoming “Thor: The Dark World.”

Speaking of the film and of Loki getting more face time on camera, above is the latest trailer, which includes plenty more footage with him.

Director Alan Taylor has confirmed for Collider that reshoots are now underway for “Dark World,” MTV reports.

“We continue to, what [Marvel Studios president] Kevin Feige calls, ‘plus the movie,’ [with] new scenes being added even now. We’re doing full scenes, scenes that were not in the movie before. We’re adding scenes, creating scenes, writing scenes for the first time,” he says.

More importantly, all these scenes are with Loki. Win 1 for the fans.

“We realized how well Loki was working in the movie, and we wanted to do more with him. So it was that kind of thing, it was like, ‘Oh, we could do this, we could jam this in here because he’s such a wonderful guy to watch do his stuff’,” Taylor continues.

I wouldn’t be surprised if the decision came about after Hiddleston’s incredibly well received Comic-Con 2013 appearance.
