There’s no stopping Tom Dickson and his Total Blender when it comes to magical products like the iPad. After turning the original iPad into dust in just a few seconds, Tom takes ‘Steve Jobs’ iPad and puts it to the test.

“Will It Blend” is a viral marketing campaign consisting of a series of infomercials demonstrating the Blendtec line of blenders.

In the videos, Blendtec founder Tom Dickson attempts to blend various unusual items, such as golf balls and iPods, in order to show off the power of his blenders.

Dickson uses his company’s Total Blender throughout the entire “Will it Blend” video series. It is the entry level blender for the Blendtec home product line.

Now that Apple has launched the iPad 2, a new challenge awaits!

In what may become a tradition at Blendtech, Tom Dickson has created a scenario where Apple’s CEO asks him to come up on stage at the iPad 2 event.

As the story goes, Jobs dares Dickson to try the iPad 2 in one of his blenders.

In the video (embedded below), the Apple CEO is portrayed as being extremely confident that his team of engineers has designed the iPad 2 so that it can withstand even the sharpest of spinning blades.

Dickson, who knows the power of his blenders, has a different opinion.

He takes Steve’s iPad 2 (a white model), gives it a few blows so that it can be bended and placed in the blender’s jar, and proceeds with the massacre.

Needless to mention, another Apple product succumbs in a ‘Will It Blend’ video by Blendtech. The video ends with a surprise call from Redmond - it’s Microsoft’s Bill Gates congratulating Dickson on his feat.

Official video description:

Tom is invited to the introduction to the new iPad 2. But as great as it is, Tom shows Steve Jobs how the Blendtec Total Blender can handle even the greatest of inventions.
