Well-known watch maker, Tokyoflash Japan has just launched its latest model, the Kisai X Acetate which comes with a white acetate case and strap.

Users have the opportunity to choose between a blue, green or red LED display, while the black smoked mineral crystal lens framed by stainless steel offers the needed contrast to read the display.

Now, the watch apparently features time, date, alarm and animation mode, but taking a look at the watch for the first time, you might think you’re dealing with a secret code instead.

The time is supposed to be read from top to bottom (hours) and left to right (minutes) and once you get the hang of it, you won’t have any issue with reading it, but you'll need to check out some guides beforehand.

Kisai X Acetate also has an animation mode which can be turned on and off in the settings. Once users have activated the feat, the display will become animated once every 10 minutes between 6 pm and midnight.

The watch uses a rechargeable battery and can last about a month on a single charge (connected to the computer to do so).

If you’re wondering what acetate is, this is a special material which is often used in the design of high-end sunglasses and other fashionable accessories.

Interesting to mention is that each link that makes up the strap has been careful hand-cut and received special attention and treatment while being polished, which makes the Kisai X quite a premium accessory.

Acetate is a resistant material that can be cleaned easily and feels nice to the touch, thus being eligible for wearable technology.

For a limited time, users can purchase the Kisai X Acetate for the promotional price $139 / €102, so if this little watch has caught your interest, you still have 17 hours and 22 minutes to grab one.
