Todoist has made available for download a new, re-designed version of its application, currently available for download on Android devices as version 3.0.2.

The new build comes as a rewrite of the previously available software, with apps and extensions called Todoist Next now, and with support for 13 platforms and devices.

Moreover, the application provides users with the possibility to easily invite other people to collaborate with them on various projects.

“Collaborate with anyone across 13 different platforms, including top-rated mobile apps for iOS and Android. Collaboration includes delegating tasks, discussing to-dos, and getting notified when changes happen,” the company announced.

Users will also be able to focus more on their tasks, courtesy of the new streamlined design that the application sports.

At the same time, there is a new visual scheduling included in Todoist, aimed at helping users to plan their day easier than before.

Other features of the new app version include:

- Real time sync for everyone – never think about syncing again. We make sure your data is everywhere you are and it's pushed in real time.

- As a freemium user, you can invite 5 people to a project for a total of 6 people. As a Premium user, you will be able to invite 25 to a project (meaning a total of 26 people).

At the same time, the company has announced that the new flavor of the application comes with an additional permission, namely writing to the external storage, which is used to store collaborator avatars.

“People have completed millions of tasks and projects using our previous software. With Todoist Next, we expect this to increase to billions of tasks and projects. It's that significant of an improvement,” Amir Salihefendic, the CEO of Todoist, said.

You can download Todoist 3.0.2 for Android from Softpedia today. The application comes with support for all devices running under Android 2.2 or newer platform versions.
