Good news for the conservative people who are still fans of the good old radios! Tivoli Radios is well known for its tabletop radios, but the company still focuses on the conservative side when it comes to its main features. So, they changed their design a little and kept the audio capability: AM, FM and CD, plus the impressive iPod dock and the satellite radio.

The company revealed a new line of MP3, Real and WMA streaming. The new pair of radios merge conventional FM radio with Internet streaming. In addition, the radios can tune MP3, Real or Windows Media radio channels through a wired Ethernet connection or through Wi-Fi for an even remoter location, so the owner can enjoy favorite music and the latest news.

According to Tivoli, the radio stations are already preset, but they can also be requested by users, and added through firmware updates applied on the user and easily added using firmware updates applied on the user's end through the press of a button. Both radios can recognize all the media content shared by local Macs or PCs, and they can also stream digital audio files from networked PCs as well.

And there is more, Tivoli claims that the radio works perfectly with other offline digital devices, such as the popular iPod and other players can hook in through an aux-in jack or a USB connection.

Besides the major changes applied on the design of the radio (which is even classier and more retro) the systems also vary in the capabilities which are revealed in their names: "Model One" and "SongBook".

As for the required power, the Table Radio version relies only on the wall outlet power. Tivoli intended to make an electronic item which is meant for the home environment. The other radio, dubbed NetWorksGo is designed for the party people, those who enjoy good music while at the beach or playing volleyball and is supplied either by an outlet or six C-cell batteries, which provide several hours of entertainment.

If you were wondering about the costs of each system or about the precise date of the release, the company still keeps it secret. However, the launching of the two newer versions represents a significant step forward into the latest technology.
