The development team at Respawn Entertainment has recently launched a fourth major update for its shooter Titanfall and a number of fans of the title have already mined the new files searching for clues about the future of the game.

RazorUK, which has delivered a number of accurate pieces of info about the game before it was launched, has posted on NeoGAF details about the new modes that the studio plans to add in the coming months via the new Featured Game Mode official playlist.

At the moment, Marked for Death occupies that slot and the mode that will replace it is called Wingman Last Titan Standing, designed to give the victory to the last team who has Titans present on the battlefield.

Respawn Entertainment is also working on a game mode called Titan Tag, which currently has no description, and on Capture the Titan, in which teams will have to take over a designated robot and then get it to their base while hunted by the enemy team.

In the future, Titanfall might also get access to modes called Big Brother, in which teams need to attack and defend a control panel, and Bodyguard, which will introduce a new escort mechanic.

It's unclear how long each of the mentioned version of Titanfall will be kept in the Featured Game Mode playlist.

The fourth full update for the video game has also introduced changes to matchmaking, has fixed a number of bugs and altered the balance of the weapons and Burn Cards in order to offer a better overall experience to gamers.

Respawn Entertainment has already launched one downloadable content package for Titanfall and another two are planned at a minimum, both of them covered by a Season Pass service.

The studio has said that it will introduce new modes for the title both via paid DLC and via free updates, in order to make sure that the player community remains engaged in the long term.

Titanfall is at the moment offered on the Xbox One, the older 360 and the PC.

The game was so successful on launch that Electronic Arts has suggested that Respawn Entertainment is already preparing to work on a full sequel that might also be launched on the PlayStation 4.

The shooter mixes enhanced mobility options for gamers when they move around the battlefield as a Pilot and increased firepower delivered via the Titans that can be called into the fight.
