Abbie Heppe, the community manager at Respawn Entertainment, says that her team is focusing on exciting reveals for fans of Titanfall, which will focus on new types of mechs that can be used on the battlefield.

The developer is quoted by NeoGAF as saying that, “being able to work in sci-fi is awesome, because it lets our design team and our art team build just… it lets them get way more out there with levels and locations and world stuff. So I think I’m really excited to be able to show what else there is.”

She adds, “This is a city; it goes a lot crazier than that. So I think it will definitely be some of the other maps in the game and some of the other characters and titans.”

Titanfall is one of the more exciting titles set to launch in 2014 and fans of the game are constantly asking to learn more about the core game mechanics and about the environments where they will be able to fight.

Abbie Heppe also says that Respawn is trying to make sure that everything it shows to the public is polished and has the same level of quality that will be offered when the shooter is launched.

The developer has also talked about how Respawn is dealing with Electronic Arts and has revealed that the studio is not interested in being bought even if it has a great working relationship with the publisher.

Respawn Entertainment is made up of former members of Infinity Ward who were pushed out of the company after a very public battle with Activision Blizzard over the ownership of the Modern Warfare brand, associated with Call of Duty.

Titanfall is a shooter with a lot of vertical elements and which also aims to integrate story-based moments into its multiplayer battles.

The game will be released in the spring of 2014.
