The development team at Respawn Entertainment, publisher Activision and Threezero Toys are ready to reveal the prototype of the special Titanfall Atles mech figurine that gamers will be able to buy in the coming year and offer fans some details on its development.

In an official announcement made on Facebook, the companies explains that, “Figure will stand approximately 20" (50.8cm) tall and will be extremely detailed! As you can see on the photos it comes with a number of movable joints, articulated fingers and cockpit which can be opened. We have more surprises and will reveal full specification later on.”

The toys have been teased ever since before the actual game was launched and Threezero Toys has said that it has plans to deliver figurines that represent all the Titans features in the video game, although an official timeline has not yet been offered for their launch.

The official Facebook page adds, “Naturally Atlas will be coming with the pilot as well. Wait when you will see it fully painted and with weathering applied!”

Titanfall has been a big hit since it was launched on the Xbox One and the PC in March, offering a multiplayer-focused first-person shooter experience that focuses on the extreme mobility of the pilots and the superior firepower of the mechs.

A Xbox 360 version of the game is also set to be launched after it was delayed in order to make sure that the quality of the experience was the same on all platforms.

The development team at Respawn Entertainment has already implemented anti-cheating measures in order to make sure that the game remains fair in the long term and a matchmaking update has been delivered in order to offer more variety when it comes to the opponents that a player faces.

At the same time, the studio has said that it is aiming to deliver more game modes via three updates even as it is working on three official downloadable content packs that will include new maps and are offered using a Season Pass.

Publisher Activision is eager to monetize the Titanfall brand as much as it can while making sure that it delivers all the content that the player community is asking for and, in addition to the already revealed toys, the company might be also preparing other types of content.

No official sales figures have been offered for Titanfall so far, but we will get some when the NPD Group numbers for March are revealed.
