Beauty comes from within is a line that has been said so many times that it almost lost all practical meaning. Yet, it is true, as model Tatyana Danilchenko tells AllWomen’sTalk in an interview about what being glamorous on a daily basis really means. Fashion is not science and style can definitely be acquired, as long as you’re willing to keep an open mind, the model assures us. Moreover, all this can be done easier than we might be prompted to think at first.

One of the myths that Tatyana brings down in the aforementioned interview is that designer clothes do not make style, regardless of what regular people may think. The secret in coming up with a personal style that makes us stand out from the crowd is not to buy the most expensive clothes and not to wear them at the same time, a mistake most women are prone to. “That is not style. Style is not wearing all brand names all at once, but pairing one awesome vintage piece with something basic or even something basic with something brand name. You have to be open to experimentation.” Tatyana explains.

This, of course, is an obstacle that can be easily sidestepped by listening to our inner voice or asking for advice when we find ourselves in a situation that we cannot handle, the model says. “When in the process of finding your style, pay attention to your own voice. If you find yourself saying “I wish I had this” or ‘This would have gone great with my black jeans,” that is a sign you should go out and get that missing link! Also, don’t be afraid to ask for help. If you have the budget, invest in a personal shopper. They can help you with colors, fabrics, and cuts. If you don’t have the budget, utilize the sales assistants.” Tatyana adds.

Moreover, any busy woman can stay glamorous at all times, granted she constantly thinks ahead. For instance, Tatyana offers her own example, when she knows for certain that she’ll be gone 24 hours from her house. In such a case, a large bag can come very in handy, since stilettos, lipgloss, a top or some funky accessory for nighttime will certainly find their way in there. “Never underestimate the power of accessories. Play around with elegant necklaces, funky bracelets, or oversized earrings. Accessories can make even the ‘jeans and a t-shirt’ look finished.” Tatyana advises us.

In the end, the model says, looking good is not so much a matter of clothes as it is of attitude, which is, again, a line most of us are already well familiar with. “Looking good is all about feeling good. It’s a huge confidence booster when you’re wearing something that’s well made, fits great, and says a little about who you are. People can really sense that.” Tatyana explains.
