Concrete usually goes in sidewalks and buildings, but it might soon become too flimsy for the more ambitious construction projects.

Never fear, though. Even if some new super material gets invented, concrete will still have a place in the world, as part of wrist watches.

Indeed, Timex has introduced a bunch (eight models) of watches with concrete housings.

There will only be around 100 to 150 pieces of each made, but we're not surprised. They're supposed to be collectors' items more than anything else.

Don't expect them to be cheap though. As evident form this page, they are priced at 980 Euro / $1,112 to 1,240 Euro / $1500.

Deliveries will be made in November, but you should still hurry and decide if you want one now, as pre-orders are, as we implied above, limited.
