Arriving during the summer

Electronic Arts has finally decided which young athlete is good enough to grace the cover of NCAA Football 11, the American football simulation, which focuses on college football and the special brand of sports drama it can deliver. The game is being developed by EA Tiburon and will be delivered on the Xbox 360 from Microsoft, the PlayStation 3 from Sony and the older PS2. The launch date for NCAA Football 11 is set for July 13 at the moment, roughly one month before that of Madden NFL 11.

Tim Teebow has had quite the storied career, despite being just 22 years old. He is currently playing for the University of Florida football team, the Gators, and he won the Heisman Trophy while being a sophomore for the season he played in 2007.

As a quarterback, he managed to become the first player in the history of the NCAA franchise to rush and pass for more than 20 touchdowns in just one season. His list of awards also includes the Davey O’Brien Award, for best quarterback, and two instances of the Maxwell Award.

NCAA Football 11 is set to improve on the foundation created by last year's release, aiming to make sure that the tension of Saturday football clashes. Electronic Arts promises the game will manage to reflect the play style of all the schools that compete as part of the National Collegiate Athletic Association.

At the moment, fans of the series know the game will offer the fresh Pro-Tak gang tackling, which appeared in Madden NFL 10 and was very well received by players and that new helmets, towels, hand warmers, sleeves and knee braces will be simulated while mascots will be cheering the teams from the side. NCAA Football 11 is also set to include improved lightning and on-the-field referees.
